The average salary at the Office of Cuba Broadcasting in Miami in 2018 was $109,208.04.
That was more than double the average wage of $48,240 in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach metropolitan area, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Tomás Regalado, the former mayor of Miami, had the highest salary. He was director of the Office of Cuba Broadcasting until resigning in September 2019.
The executives with the next highest salaries were:
Irvin Rubenstein, with $164,200, followed by José A. Costa Jr., Feliciano Foyo, Joseph F. Glennon, Adam M. Lindemann and Robert H. McKinney, all with $145,701.
The Office of Cuba Broadcasting oversees Radio & TV Martí. All but four employees there earned at least $85,799 in fiscal 2018, which was from Oct. 1, 2017, to Sept. 30, 2018, according to Feds Data Center.
The salaries for fiscal 2018 totaled $11,030,012.
